I wondered where you were too Jo. Sick as a dog came about because dogs were thought of as dirty and being sick is a negative thing too. I Googled it for you. Get better soon :)
Bit unfair on dogs isn't it? I tend to think 'sick as a parrot' which is equally obscure I guess. Anyway, hope that you feel better soon - must be poorly if even chocolate doesn't help!
Now you've really got me worried, if you don't like the taste of chocolate!!! Rest up dear Jo. We need you back in good form and downing that chocolate. Sending hugs and healing your way...
Thanks Lisa, you're such a pet. I can't stop resting up, I fall asleep at the drop of a hat. I have a box of Lindor balls staring at me. Tried one, didn't taste of much at all.
So sorry you are sick, but nice to see your blog pop-up. I was a little concerned. Get better.
ReplyDeleteThought people might be. Thanks very much for your good wishes
DeleteBummer. I hope you feel better soon! Get some rest!!

ReplyDeleteThanks Pinky. Poor doggies. Doing my best. Popping antibiotics - now the holiday is over I have to get some probiotics.

That would be thing. Can't type either at the moment.
DeleteGet better soon, Jo. When you cannot write your blog, I know you are not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteI know I've mostly been as regular as clockwork. I have a fever and infection running through me at the moment.
