Egg Rolls

So Saturday I made my egg rolls. Made a couple of errors which I realised in hind sight so will know what to do next time. They did end up a lot crispier than they should have been.


But as Ivy Shorts said, there is a learning curve. I made the dipping sauce from the recipe I posted and it was pretty good.

I'm sorry that is it tonight. For some  reason I feel as if I haven't slept for weeks.

  2. I like most egg rolls but have never tried my own. They'd probably be healthier if I made my own.

    1. Thanks Hilary, not too bad for my first attempt. Actually Matt seemed to enjoy the dipping sauce more than me - I found it a bit vinegary. Will decrease it if I make it again.

  5. Hey Jo! Great start. It won't take long before they are the way you want and remember, we learn by tasting. So you taste and you see, okay, that's not good, I'll fix that next go. And bam! Before you know it, you'll be an eggroll queen.
