TV, Bowling.

I don't normally watch much TV but I decided to watch Poldark Thursday night and saw two episodes, really enjoyed it. Also watched an episode of Father Brown. I used to read the books many, many years ago. Quite enjoyed that too.

I beat Matt three times today at bowling, depressing for him but not for me of course.

It is now late and I am ready for bed, so no recipe tonight. Sorry.

Have a great day

  1. Hi, Jo...

You did great! You were definitely "on your game." I'm sure Matt was very proud of you.

Glad you enjoyed your shows. HAPPY WEEKEND!

  2. I love Father Brown. I have Netflix and they had the latest season available even though it has not been on TV here. Did not watch Poldark, but now I might have to if you enjoyed it. I finally finished watching all of the Poirot episodes that were made over many years. I never watched TV from 1986 when I went back to grad school til 2007 when I was laid up for months with my shattered leg. Lots of catching up to do.

    1. They had the first two episodes back to back but not sure what the regular airing schedule will be. I guess I might continue to watch Father Brown. Matt didn't stay for that and didn't watch Poldark either. I have seen the odd Poirot episode but was never a Christie fan. Shattered leg, don't remember you mentioning that before?

    2. Never mentioned the leg incident? It may have been in one of my early posts. I probably should do a post about falling. I've broken both legs.

    3. Both?? So far, I have broken a couple of fingers, but thankfully that's it. Sounds like your balance isn't much good. Maybe you should study T'ai Chi Denise. Helps terrifically with balance.

    4. It has nothing to do with balance. It was not paying attention to where I was going. I should do a post.

    5. I posted in November 2015 and you commented both times.

    6. Oops sorry. Guess my memory isn't as good as I think it is Denise.

  3. I just read your conversation above with Denise. I've never broken anything that I know of either, touch wood.

    1. You're a bit younger than either of us Pinky. Mind you I had my first broken finger when I was 8.
