A quick note to everyone - the bugs are back. My time is therefore going to be much occupied once again with laundering and packing stuff for the pest control to come once more.
I will visit you as often as I can, but if I don't get there right away, please forgive me.
Have a great day
Oh geez... bugs are almost impossible to get rid of sometimes. Did I see they were bedbugs? Good luck; I hope you figure out what's bringing them.

Yes John, we have been fighting them for a couple of months now. Lots of problems.
DeleteDarn those bugs!!!
ReplyDeleteThat at least Alex.
DeleteHi Jo - so sorry ... I do hope you can get it sorted and someone takes responsibility and gives you recompense ... with thoughts - Hilary
ReplyDeleteThe pest control are coming back in a couple of weeks but that's about all the responsibility anyone is taking Hilary.
Deleteoh no! not again!
ReplyDeletesorry to hear this!
betty
Not so much again as still Betty.
DeleteI cannot believe this. Ugh. You guys must be beyond frustrated with this! I'm so sorry. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right JoJo. Never remember going through anything like this in my life.
DeleteOh man...never mind the frustration but also just feeling defeated by these horrible little devils. I wish I knew how to help but all I can say is that we are here to listen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Birgit. I was told today that it's because DDT was banned which allowed them to come forth and multiply. I didn't know that before.
DeleteOh Jo. I am so sorry to hear that. It's just not fair.
ReplyDeleteDunno about unfair Helen, it's extremely distressing I know that.
DeleteI hope the exterminators didn't bring them back! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMust admit I had the same thought Yolanda. However, I only treated our bed areas so they could well be living elsewhere.
DeleteSo sorry to hear you've still got bugs Jo. I guess you've probably already searched the internet for ideas but I read a Wiki page about eradication of bedbugs and wondered if you'd seen this. I thought the silica gel sounded interesting and relatively simple to do ... and the bedbug-proof mattress cover also. Sadly, it seems as though there's no quick fix so you'll be battling them for a while yet. Good luck. http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Rid-of-Bed-Bugs
ReplyDeleteDidn't come across silica gel but the earth instead. The pest people put bug proof covers on our box springs and on Matt's mattress, not mine for some reason, so I bought one.
DeleteSorry Jo, just catching up on posts and saw your earlier one about Diatomaceous Earth which I think is a kind of silica! Glad its doing the trick though.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise it was a silica, just knew it did the job Sue.
DeleteAck! Sorry they are back.
ReplyDeleteI think, hope, and pray they have finally gone Ivy. Not been bitten for a good week now.
