Matt is watching The Masters which, of course, takes place in Georgia. Seeing bits of it now and again, I am noticing the azaleas in bloom and then I caught sight of a Dogwood. This makes me homesick for our place in the Carolinas where we had two Dogwoods in our front yard and azaleas edging the path up to the front door and along both sides of the house.
Just had to share my nostalgia with you. All of these were borrowed. I am sure we have some pix but can’t find them.
I regret I am not feeling too good lately, touch of bronchitis or something, so if I don’t make all the visits I should, I apologise. At least all my A to Z blogs are already written.
Hope the weekend is treating you well.
I hope you're feeling better soon, Jo. I am enjoying the A-Z Blog Challenge. I'm so pleased you introduced me to it.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to participate. Lots of different blogs to read.
DeleteJo, these are some gorgeous pics!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, now you see why I am nostalgic.
DeleteNice pics. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Denis. Things don't seem to be improving yet sadly. I feel like sh*t.
DeleteSee can't even type your name right, sorry Denise.
DeleteSorry you are sick! :( I miss the WA spring too, which is in bloom now. I had purple azaleas in my yard there and they were gorgeous. And a dogwood tree out front, thundercloud plums, lilacs and rhododendrons. Only now am I starting to see some buds on the trees here in MA.
ReplyDeleteWe can see the grass although it's still a nasty colour. In NC had a lot of gorgeous daffodils out front too. The back was mostly pine trees and bird feeders/houses.
DeleteBeautiful photos you offered. It had been warming up here, so I thought spring was gonna finally show in the scenery. No such luck. Today it started snowing again. I hope your bronchitis gets better – no fun to be sick. I do envy that you have all your blog posts done for the A to Z. I had the first few done in advance, but since then I've been plugging away at them day by day. Definitely coming off the top of my head now. :-)

So far I don't expect snow, but winter really isn't over yet. I have now scheduled all my posts right up to the bitter end. Good luck with the rest of yours.
DeleteJo, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Hope you're all good soon. Thanks for sharing those amazing pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise. Those pix made me feel good - just wish it was here right now.
DeleteI do hope you get to feeling better soon. And you can sure of one thing: the Carolinas miss you too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeff. Not sure what I have right now, but still feeling yuk.
DeleteNice of you to say that.
