The first one did the same, got blocked and infected. They replaced it and added another in a different spot.<br /><br />That's terrible they wouldn't take your blood pressure like that. <br /><br />Thanks and we are trying to do so. Plus I had two more blockages. Doctor was AMAZED the stent had lasted that long! Of course no one told me they had a shelf life and seeing a cardiologist as well as other doctors that entire 10 years only made my shock double. I almost died! Bastards!<br />I was in a lab once and couldn't get my breath - thought it was my heart and I asked the lab tech to take my blood pressure. She said, oh we don't do that here, but the grocery store down the street does. That next week I received two more stents, and I wrote a scathing letter to that lab. They wrote back, even called and said they'd changed things. I'll bet!<br />So yeah, I know your frustration!<br />Sorry, such incidents just rile me something awful!
